Dr. Shani J. Mortley (popularly known as Dr. Glow) specializes in Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine. She obtained her primary degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B., B.S.) from the University of West Indies Mona, Jamaica. 

 

She has always had an interest in Cosmetic Medicine and pursued continuing medical education in Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine. She has completed courses in the United States and continues to keep abreast of the latest advances in the field. 

 

Dr. Mortley is a skincare expert specialising in ageing skin and hyperpigmentation. She has treated clients' cosmetic concerns privately for over three years with non-invasive to minimally invasive procedures, some of which include non-surgical facial rejuvenation, laser hair removal, medical and laser treatment of acne, hair restoration, and non-surgical fat reduction.

 

Her current interests include the use of combination treatment in improving the appearance of stretch marks in black skin and promoting safer alternatives to skin bleaching. 

 

She is very passionate about safe skin care and aims to increase awareness and accessibility to effective medical-grade skin care in Jamaica. 

 

She believes everyone deserves to have beautiful, glowing skin despite skin type, colour, age and gender. Dr. Mortley has recently launched her latest venture SOMA GLOW by Dr Glow which is an inclusive skin care brand that is cruelty-free, vegan and unisex.
